Privacy policy
Short version: we do not use cookies for tracking, we do not sell personal data, and we collect only what we need to understand how the site is read.
Who we are
This policy covers fcproperties.media (“FC Properties”, “we”). We are an online magazine read internationally. For any privacy question, email hello@fcproperties.media.
What we collect
We use first-party, cookieless analytics to count page views. When a page loads, your browser sends us:
- the page address you visited and, if any, the article it shows;
- the referring page (the site that linked you here), if your browser shares it;
- the width of your browser window, so we can design for the screens people use.
We do not set cookies, use advertising identifiers, fingerprint devices or build profiles of individual readers. Like any web server, our hosting provider processes your IP address to deliver pages and protect the service; we do not use it to identify you.
If you email us, we receive your email address and message and use them only to reply and keep a record of the correspondence.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
- We do not run third-party advertising or social-media tracking scripts. Share links are plain links.
- We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Third-party services
Pages load fonts from Google Fonts and article photographs from image hosts such as Unsplash. Those providers receive your IP address and browser information as part of serving the files, under their own privacy policies. Links to other websites are governed by those sites' policies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information. California residents have rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA: to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, to access and delete it, to correct it, to opt out of its sale or sharing (we do neither), to limit use of sensitive information (we collect none), and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Residents of other US states with privacy laws, the EU and UK (GDPR), the UAE (PDPL) and elsewhere have similar rights to access, correct, delete or object.
To exercise any right, email hello@fcproperties.media with the subject “Privacy request”. We will respond within the time the applicable law requires (for California, 45 days). You may use an authorised agent. We honour Global Privacy Control signals, although we do not sell or share data in the first place.
Retention and security
Analytics records are kept in aggregate form for as long as they are useful for understanding readership. Emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your request.
Changes
We will update this page if our practices change and revise the date above.
